Hillingdon Council Funded Programme

Free Strength and Balance Classes in Hillingdon

A 12-week Strength and Balance programme, fully funded by Hillingdon Council. Every eligible resident is entitled to attend one 12-week programme free of charge, and you can refer yourself.

What the Programme Is

Twelve weeks to feel steadier on your feet

The programme runs for 12 weeks, in small friendly groups, led by instructors who specialise in exercise for adults aged 50 and over. Sessions build the strength, balance and confidence that make everyday life easier, from getting out of a chair to walking on uneven ground.

There is nothing to pay. The programme is funded in full by Hillingdon Council.

Who Can Join

Is this programme right for you?

The Strength and Balance Programme is suitable only for participants who can stand and balance independently. From there, every movement is adapted to your level and you work at your own pace.
